Let’s Go Morogoro: Spreading Hope for the Day of the African Child – June 14–16, 2025

Every year on June 16th, the Day of the African Child is commemorated to honor the brave students who took a stand for their rights during the historic Soweto Uprising. This year, the spirit of that courage lives on as we come together in Morogoro for a three-day impact journey that blends compassion, action, and transformation.

From June 14th to 16th, 2025, join the team at inreallife.site and fellow changemakers at Malangali, Kilosa District, Morogoro as we visit local schools and families living under difficult circumstances. Our mission? To uplift, to restore dignity, and to ignite hope in the lives of children—especially young girls—who face daily struggles just to survive, let alone succeed.

This powerful line on our event poster reflects the heart of our campaign: walking into communities, not as saviors, but as fellow humans ready to listen, support, and bring the help that’s so desperately needed.

What We’re Collecting

To make the biggest difference, we are calling on generous hearts to donate the following essentials:

• Menstrual Pads – To support girls in managing their periods with dignity and staying in school.

• Clothes – Clean, comfortable clothing to restore confidence and warmth.

• Food – Because every child deserves to eat, grow, and dream without hunger.

These items might seem small, but they have the power to change lives when placed in the right hands.
